Three-year-old Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and children known to Child Protection are eligible to attend a funded early childhood program that is planned and delivered by a qualified early childhood teacher free of charge.
There is particular attention paid to the most vulnerable children, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, children from culturally and/or linguistically diverse backgrounds, and children with a disability.
This evidence must be in accordance with all three parts of the definition of Aboriginality and Torres Strait Islander status.
Note: The onus is on the applicant to establish Aboriginality or Torres Strait Islander status.
