Travel promoter definition

Travel promoter means a person who sells, provides, furnishes, contracts for, or arranges travel services for a fee, commission, or other valuable consideration. "Travel promoter" does not include a transportation carrier if the carrier provides, furnishes, contracts for, or arranges only transportation services that are directly provided by the transportation carrier as the substantial portion of the transportation carrier's business; and

  • Travel Advisory or Travel Warning means U.S. State Department communication advising caution in traveling to specified destinations due to reasons such as armed violence, civil or political unrest, high incidence of crime (specially kidnapping and/or murder), natural disaster or outbreak of one or more contagious diseases.

  • Tourism promotion means activities, operations, and expenditures designed to increase tourism, including but not limited to advertising, publicizing, or otherwise distributing information for the purpose of attracting and welcoming tourists; developing strategies to expand tourism; operating tourism promotion agencies; and funding the marketing of or the operation of special events and festivals designed to attract tourists.

  • Travel Supplier means any entity or organization that coordinates or supplies travel services for You.

  • Travel Services means transportation, accommodation or other travel arrangements including, without limitation, air, rail, bus passenger transportation, hotel accommodation and car hire services.
