UNENROLLED INDIAN CHILD definition

UNENROLLED INDIAN CHILD means an unmarried person under the age of 18 who does not meet the definitions of Indian Child, Washington State Indian Child, or Canadian Indian Child. Regardless of enrollment or membership status, an Unenrolled Indian Child is a child considered to be Indian by a federally or non- federally recognized Indian tribe or off-reservation Indian/Alaska Native community organization. UNENROLLED INDIAN CHILD means an unmarried person under the age of 18 who does not meet the definitions of Indian Child, Washington State Indian Child, or Canadian Indian Child.
