Uninsured public funds definition

Uninsured public funds means any amount of public funds of a public funds depositor on deposit in an account at a financial institution that exceeds the amount of public funds in that account that are insured by the federal deposit insurance corporation or the national credit union administration.
Uninsured public funds shall have the meaning given to such term in Iowa Code § 12C.1(2)(h), as amended.

A deposit of public funds in a depository pursuant to this chapter shall be secured as follows:a. If a depository is a bank, public deposits in the bank shall be secured pursuant to sections 12C.23A and 12C.24.4.   • Certified public accountant means an individual who is either of the following:

  • Specified public utility means an electrical corporation, gas corporation, or telephone corporation, as those terms are defined in Section 54-2-1.

  • Registered Public Accounting Firm has the meaning specified in the Securities Laws and shall be independent of the Borrower as prescribed by the Securities Laws.

  • Independent Certified Public Accountant means a person duly registered in good standing and entitled to practice as a certified public accountant under the laws of the place of his residence or principal office and who is in fact independent. In determining whether an accountant is independent with respect to a particular person, appropriate consideration should be given to all relationships between the accountant and that person or any affiliate thereof. Determination of an accountant’s independence shall not be confined to the relationships existing in connection with the filing of reports with the awarding authority.

  • Practice of public accounting means the performance or the offering to perform, by a person holding oneself out to the public as a certified public accountant or a licensed public accountant, one or more kinds of professional services involving the use of accounting, attest, or auditing skills, including the issuance of reports on financial statements, or of one or more kinds of management advisory, financial advisory, or consulting services, or the preparation of tax returns or the furnishing of advice on tax matters. However, with respect to licensed public accountants, the “practice of public accounting” shall not include attest or auditing services or the rendering of an opinion attesting to the reliability of any representation embracing financial information.

  • Qualified Public Offering means the sale by the Company, in an ------------------------- underwritten public offering registered under the 1933 Act, of shares of the Company's Common Stock having an aggregate offering value of at least $10 million and where the per share price to the public multiplied by the number of shares of Common Stock issued under the Purchase Agreement and this and the other Executive Stock Agreements (adjusted for stock splits and other recapitalizations) is at least $30,000,000.

  • International Accounting Standards means the accounting standards approved by the International Accounting Standards Board from time to time.

  • Public access means that the public can inspect and obtain a copy of the information in a court record.

  • Applicable Accounting Standards means Generally Accepted Accounting Principles in the United States, International Financial Reporting Standards or such other accounting principles or standards as may apply to the Company’s financial statements under United States federal securities laws from time to time.

  • Accounting Standards means the standards of accounting or any addendum thereto for companies or class of companies referred to in section 133;

  • Quasi-public Agency means the Connecticut Development Authority, Connecticut Innovations, Incorporated, Connecticut Health and Educational Facilities Authority, Connecticut Higher Education Supplemental Loan Authority, Connecticut Housing Finance Authority, Connecticut Housing Authority, Connecticut Resources Recovery Authority, Connecticut Hazardous Waste Management Service, Capital City Economic Development Authority, Connecticut Lottery Corporation, or as this definition may otherwise be modified by Title 1, Chapter 12 of the Connecticut General Statutes concerning quasi-public agencies.

  • public accountant means a person who is registered or deemed to be registered under the Accountants Act (Cap. 2) as a public accountant;

  • International Financial Reporting Standards or “IFRS” means the accounting standards issued or endorsed by the International Accounting Standards Board.

  • INTERCAM BANCO undertakes to provide the "CUSTOMER" the Host to Host Banking service, through which it will allow the "CUSTOMER" to send or receive files in ".txt" format, for payments in SPEI, SPID, international transfers, credit card payments, as well as for balance inquiries and electronic account statements through SWIFT MT940 and SWIFT MT942. Likewise, the "CUSTOMER" must designate and register the beneficiaries in the terms set forth in the common legislation. Notwithstanding the foregoing, "INTERCAM BANCO" may make available to the "CUSTOMER" other formats that expand the range of operations and services provided through Host to Host Banking that "INTERCAM BANCO" will make known to the "CUSTOMER". "INTERCAM BANCO" will provide the connection to the Host to Host Banking service through a Secure File Transfer Protocol, "SFTP" (for its acronym in English), or through an Application Programming Interface, "API" (for its acronym in English). For purposes of the foregoing, in order to request the activation of the Host to Host Banking service, the "CUSTOMER" must have previously contracted an "Account" with "INTERCAM BANCO" in terms of Chapter I of this "Agreement". The "CUSTOMER" shall indicate to "INTERCAM BANCO" through the Host to Host Banking service the personnel authorized to register and carry out operations in the "Account(s)", who shall be solely responsible for the use of the system used by the "CUSTOMER" for its connection to the Host to Host Banking service. THIRTEENTH ONE. "INTERCAM BANCO" will provide the Host to Host Banking service from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. every "BUSINESS DAY". Likewise, "INTERCAM BANCO" may extend or restrict the hours in accordance with its operational needs, having to previously inform the "CUSTOMER" by the means agreed by both for such purpose under this service and/or "Contract".

  • Central Bank Regulations means the Central Bank (Supervision and Enforcement) Act 2013

  • Central Bank UCITS Regulations means the Central Bank (Supervision and Enforcement)

  • Accounting Manual means the latest version of the document titled “Accounting for Parents and Citizens Associations” that is published by the Department of Education as amended from time to time.

  • The public means one or more natural or legal persons, and, in accordance with national legislation or practice, their associations, organizations or groups;

  • International Monetary Assets means all (i) gold, (ii) Special Drawing Rights, (iii) Reserve Positions in the Fund and (iv) Foreign Exchange.

  • Underwriting Standards As to each Mortgage Loan, the Seller's underwriting guidelines in effect as of the date of origination of such Mortgage Loan.

  • the public concerned means the public affected or likely to be affected by, or having an interest in, the environmental decision-making; for the purposes of this definition, non-governmental organizations promoting environmental protection and meeting any requirements under national law shall be deemed to have an interest.

  • auditing standards means auditing standards as defined in National Instrument 52-107 Acceptable Accounting Principles and Auditing Standards;

  • the public service means, subject to the provisions of this section, the service in a civil capacity of the Government;

  • CMSA Financial File means a report substantially in the form of, and containing the information called for in, the downloadable form of the "Financial File" available as of the Closing Date on the CMSA Website, or such other form for the presentation of such information and containing such additional information as may from time to time be approved by the CMSA for commercial mortgage securities transactions generally.

  • SEBI ICDR Regulations means Securities and Exchange Board of India (Issue of Capital and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2018, as amended;

  • State public body means any city, town, incorporated village, county, metropolitan district, or other subdivision or public body of the state.
