Unsafe equipment definition

Unsafe equipment means any boiler, heating equipment, elevator, moving stairway, electrical wiring or device on the premises which is in such disrepair or condition that such equipment is a hazard to life, health, property or safety to the public or its inhabitants.

Unsafe equipment. The Employer shall not require employees to take out on the streets or highways any vehicle that is not in safe operating condition or equipped with the safety appliances prescribed by law. It shall not be a violation of this Agreement where employees refuse to operate such equipment unless such refusal is unjustified.
