VA Mortgage definition

VA Mortgage means a mortgage qualifying under the mortgage loan program established by the United States Department of Veterans Affairs to help veterans and their families obtain home financing.

More Definitions of VA Mortgage

VA Mortgage means a First Mortgage securing a VA Loan which is guaranteed by, or is eligible to be guaranteed by, the Veterans Administration pursuant to the provisions of the Servicemen's Readjustment Act of 1944, as amended.
VA Mortgage means a mortgage loan within acceptable limits guaranteed by the VA.
VA Mortgage means a Mortgage guaranteed by the Veterans Administration under the applicable title and section of the Servicemen's Readjustment Act of 1944, as amended, to the extent of 60% of the unpaid principal amount thereof or FIFTY THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED FIFTY DOLLARS ($50,750), whichever is less, but in no event shall the unguaranteed portion of the loan exceed 75% of the value of the property as determined in the Certificate of Reasonable Value thereof, and constituting a valid first lien on the premises mortgaged thereby.

Related to VA Mortgage

  • Blanket Mortgage The mortgage or mortgages encumbering a Cooperative Property.

  • Mortgage shall have the meaning assigned to such term in the recitals.

  • First Mortgage means a Mortgage that constitutes a first Lien on the real property and improvements described in or covered by that Mortgage.

  • FHA Mortgage Insurance means, mortgage insurance authorized under the National Housing Act, as amended from time to time, and provided by the FHA.

  • Group 2 Mortgage Loan Each Mortgage Loan listed on Exhibit D-2 hereto.

  • Pledged Asset Mortgage Loan A Mortgage Loan as to which, at the time of origination, a Letter of Credit was issued in favor of the initial holder of such Mortgage Loan.
