Video Relay Service definition

Video Relay Service or “VRS” is a service which enables a user who is deaf, hard-of- hearing, or speech- disabled and who uses American Sign Language (“ASL”) to communicate with a standard voice telephone user through the Purple Product or other video equipment installed at the ASL user’s location and at the video interpreter’s location.
