Working Notice definition

Working Notice refers to the period during which the affected Society-represented lawyer(s) may seek continued employment through displacement and redeployment as set out in this Article. Payment in lieu of this notice period is not available.

Examples of Working Notice in a sentence

  • During the period covered by the Working Notice, the Executive shall continue to provide the services according to Section 2, hereof as an employee of the Company.

  • If the Company issues a Working Notice to the Executive, any entitlement to a Severance Payment and Benefit Period (as defined below) shall be reduced in proportion to the period covered by the Working Notice.

  • If the Executive resigns during the period covered by the Working Notice, then Executive shall receive only the Accrued Obligations through the date of termination.

  • Retirement shall take effect at the end of the Working Notice Period.

  • When the Employer is considering the introduction of technological change (altering methods or utilizing different equipment) in the workplace that may result in job reduction or job loss, the Employer will notify the Union with as much advance notice as possible of such change and will meet and discuss reasonable measures to protect the interests of Employees so affected and the provisions of Article 22 - Layoff, Working Notice, Recall and Severance shall apply.

  • During the Working Notice Period, the Executive shall have the duties and responsibilities customary to his title and position, including being responsible for managing the transition of the Company in New York following the Merger and overseeing and directing New York staff in this regard.

  • It is understood that during the period between the Termination Date of the Agreement (March 31, 2011) and the end of the Working Notice Period that will end June 30, 2011, the EMPLOYEE shall continue to provide services as requested by the EMPLOYER in which case the EMPLOYEE shall be provided with sufficient time to find alternate employment during the “Working Notice Period”.

  • It is understood that during the period between the Termination Date of the Agreement (March 31, 2011) and the end of the Working Notice Period that may extend beyond March 31, 2011, the EMPLOYEE shall continue to provide services as requested by the EMPLOYER in which case the EMPLOYEE shall be provided with sufficient time to find alternate employment during the “Working Notice Period”.

  • Subject to the Executive’s continued compliance with this Agreement and the Initial Release and Reaffirmation Release, the Parties acknowledge and agree that the non-competition restrictions in Section 9(b) of the Employment Agreement will be waived at the conclusion of the Working Notice Period.

Related to Working Notice

  • PAGA Notice means Plaintiff’s letter to Defendant and the LWDA providing notice pursuant to Labor Code section 2699.3, subd.(a).

  • CAFA Notice refers to the notice requirements imposed by 28 U.S.C. § 1715(b).

  • Objection Notice has the meaning set forth in Section 2.3(a) of this Agreement.

  • Rectification Notice means a notice in writing that identifies a defect in a work and requires rectification of the defect within a specified period of time.

  • Completion Notice means a notice issued by the Developer in accordance with clause 6.1.
