Year 7 & 8 definition

Year 7 & 8 means a Netball team of up to 12 players in which the players are usually aged 11-13 years old as at 1 January in the year of competition.

  • Year 7 & 8 students are withdrawn from their normal teaching classes to take part in these ESOL lessons.

  • Year 7 & 8 students from those partner schools that provide for such levels, will not be eligible to participate in SSC or other sanctioned activity, unless this has been approved by SSC.

  • To safeguard children and ensure that bullying or teasing does not occur it may be appropriate to supervise changing and showering of pupils in Year 7 & 8, at GJS, and at the Pre-school.

  • Unless otherwise specified in the entry conditions, (CCHS events) students enrolled in Year 7 & 8 are not permitted to participate in SSC and SSC sanctioned competitions, championships or tournaments.

  • Across the schools these include but are not limited to: - worry boxes; iPad virtual worry box; Year 7 & 8 tutor system.

  • Technology Fee (Year 7 & 8 students only): $15 This is to help pay for course materials the students bring home, such items made in wood-tech.

  • Year 3 means the school year in which the majority of pupils attain the age of eight;

  • Year 1 means the year next following the export date and “year” followed immediately by any other numeral has a corresponding meaning; reference in this Agreement to an Act shall include the amendments to such Act for the time being in force and also any Act passed in substitution therefor or in lieu thereof and the regulations for the time being in force thereunder; power given under any clause of this Agreement other than clause 17 hereof to extend any period or date shall be without prejudice to the power of the Minister under the said clause 17; marginal notes shall not affect the interpretation or construction hereof; the phases in which it is contemplated that this Agreement will operate are as follows —

  • Year 2 means the year after year 1; year 3 means the year after year 2, year 4 means the year after year 3, and so on; and

  • Year of Vesting Service means a vesting computation period during which you complete 1,000 hours of service during the Plan Year.

  • One-hundred-year flood means a flood having a one per cent chance of being equaled or exceeded in any given year.

  • Semi-annual (2/Year) sampling frequency means the sampling shall be done during the months of June and December, unless specifically identified otherwise.

  • Model Year means the CI engine manufacturer’s annual production period, which includes January 1st of a calendar year, or if the manufacturer has no annual production period, the calendar year.

  • Period 2 Two hundred eleven (211) days to one year after the Effective Date.

  • Planning Period Balance means the entire period of time remaining in the Planning Period following the month that a monthly auction is conducted.

  • CPD means verifiable continuing professional development, as described in the General Dental Council's publication of April 2000, "Lifelong Learning – Taking Dentistry Forward", and may include attendance at approved postgraduate education courses but does not include any quality improvement activities within the meaning of paragraph 40 of Schedule 1 to the National Health Service (General Dental Services) (Scotland) Regulations 2010 in respect of which he is claiming an allowance in accordance with Determination XI of this Statement;

  • First Year means the intake group of Students for the most junior class or year in a school.
