Your Meter definition

Your Meter means the heat Meter used to measure the amount of Heat Supply used by Your Heating System. We are responsible for the operation, repair and replacement of Your Meter. We own Your Meter.

  • Your Meter or Equipment may require periodic rate updates that you will obtain under our Soft-Guard program.

  • This does not apply to the maintenance of Your Meter or Your Heat Interface Unit, which We will need to access in accordance with paragraph 19.

  • We will charge You Our reasonable costs of any associated repair or replacement if You damage Your Meter, Our System or Heat Interface Unit.

  • However, if for any reason We are unable to read Your Meter remotely, We will where possible provide You with the means to give Us Your own reading(s).

  • If the bill is found to be correct, You may request to have Your Meter tested to establish whether it is measuring accurately.

  • We will charge You Our reasonable costs of any associated repair or replacement if You damage Your Meter or Heat Interface Unit.

  • We will seek to send Your Export Payments to You within 60 calendar days of receiving Your Meter Reading.

  • Your Meter is enabled so that You can makepayments by way of Pre-payment.

  • We may also ask for a check either by Us or by an Independent Meter Examiner at any time if We believe that Your Meter is not reading correctly.

  • Where possible We will read Your Meter remotely using our automatic reading system for every Payment Period without requiring access to Your Property.

  • Master Meter means the meter controlled by the licensed distributor and used for settlement of the master bill with the master consumer;

  • Smart Meter means a meter which tells us how much Energy you are using without us having to visit your home and which enables you to see how much Energy you are using;

  • Sound level meter means an instrument which includes a microphone, amplifier, RMS detector, integrator or time averager, output meter, and weighting networks used to measure sound pressure levels.

  • Net Metering Net metering refers to customers who sell electricity they produce, typically through a rooftop solar panel, back to the utility for credit. If you are a net metering customer, you should not enroll with XOOM because your net metering agreement will not transfer to XOOM once you enroll.

  • Check Meter means the Buyer revenue-quality meter section(s) or meter(s), which Buyer may require at its discretion, and which will include those devices normally supplied by Buyer or Seller under the applicable utility electric service requirements.
