General Conditions of Sale "Les Sables d’Or" Village Club
BOOKING CONDITIONS
The booking becomes effective only with the agreement of the Village, following the receipt of the deposit, and after receipt of either the booking contract duly completed and signed, or after acceptance of the general conditions of sale when booking online.
Bookings bind "Les Sables d'Or" Village Club only insofar as "Les Sables d'Or" Village Club accepted them, which "Les Sables d'Or" Village Club may do or refuse, depending on availability, and in general, all circumstances likely to affect the execution of the completed booking. "Les Sables d'Or" Village Club offers family-oriented stays, in the traditional sense, with accommodations being specially designed for this purpose. "Les Sables d'Or" Village Club reserves the right to refuse any reservation that is contrary to or departs from this principle.
The booking of a camping pitch or a rental accommodation is
made strictly on a personal basis. Under no circumstances may you sublet or assign your booking without the prior consent of "Les Sables d'Or" Village Club.
Minors must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.
"Les Sables d'Or" Village Club reserves the right to refuse access to the Village to groups or families with a number of participants that exceeds the capacity of the rented accommodation.
ANIMALS
Animals are accepted - with the exception of the dogs of 1st and2nd category - for a supplement (see tariffs 2020) payable upon booking. Accepted animals must be kept on a leash at all times. They are prohibited in and around the partner water park "Pirate Bay", as well as in food shops and buildings. Their vaccination card must be up to date.
GROUP BOOKINGS
Any booking of more than four accommodations for the same stay dates, by the same individual or by different individuals who know each other and travel together for the same reasons, will be considered a group booking. For any group booking request, you must contact "Les Sables d'Or" Village Club by phone or email.
ACCOMMODATION RATES AND FEES
Prices shown are valid for the 2020 season. They correspond to one night and are in Euro, VAT included.
The tourist tax amounts to € 1/pers. + 18 years/night.
PAYMENT TERMS
For bookings made over 30 days before the arrival date, 25 of the cost of the reserved services must be paid upon booking. If the payment is made by credit card or bank transfer, the outstanding amount must be paid no later than 30 days before the arrival date. If the payment is made by check, 60 days before the arrival date.
For bookings made less than 30 days before the arrival date, full payment must be made upon booking.
CANCELLATION AND ADJUSTMENTS
1. Modification of your booking
Customers may request the modification of their stay (dates and/or type of accommodation), always subject to availability, by means of a written request to "Les Sables d'Or" Village Club, either by mail or by email. Lacking any modification, Customers may enjoy their stay under the initial booking conditions or cancel the same under the conditions of the cancellation insurance.
Any request to reduce the length of your stay is considered a partial cancellation and will be subject to the terms of cancellation and interruption of stay
2. Unused services
Any stay interrupted or shortened (late arrival, early departure) on the customer's initiative will not give rise to any refund.
3. Cancellation by "Les Sables d'Or" Village Club
Any cancellation on the initiative of "Les Sables d'Or" Village
Club, except in case of force majeure, will entitle the Customer to a full refund. This cancellation will not give rise to compensation for damages.
4. Cancellation by the Customer
"Les Sables d'Or" Village Club does not carry a cancellation insurance.
Any request for cancellation must be made by mail or email to the address "xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx@xxxxxxx.xx" and enclose any supporting documents.
60 days before the arrival date: refund of the deposit paid less the handling fee
60 to 45 days before the arrival date: deduction of 25 of the total cost of the stay plus the handling fee
45 to 30 days before the arrival date: deduction of 50 of the total cost of the stay plus the handling fee subject to submission of medical proof in case of hospitalisation or death Less than 30 days before the arrival date or in case of no show on the day of arrival: no refund or compensation.
LACK OF RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
In accordance with Article L121-19 of the Consumer Code, "Les Sables d'Or" Village Club informs its customers that the sale of accommodation services provided on a given date, or at a specified periodicity is not subject to the 7-day withdrawal provision.
YOUR STAY
1. Arrival
The reception is open (July and August) from 9 am to 8 pm from Monday to Friday and Saturday and Sunday from 7 am to
9.30 pm. Check-in time for rental accommodations starts at 4 pm. A credit card deposit of € 300 and € 100 for cleaning will be required. Customers will find an inventory sheet in their accommodation that must be checked within 24 hours after arrival. Any claims made after this period will be disregarded. Customers will be provided with a camping bracelet upon arrival. It should be worn on the wrist only and for the duration of the stay.
2. During your stay
Customers are solely responsible for taking out insurance : customers are responsible for the monitoring of their personal belongings (bicycles, etc.). The Village declines all responsibility for incidents falling under the civil responsibility of the camper. Customers must comply with the rules of procedure posted at the reception desk. Tenants are responsible for disturbances and nuisances caused by people staying with or visiting them. Only one vehicle is allowed to enter between 7 am and midnight in "Les Sables d’Or" Village Club. Traffic is prohibited after 00 am.
3. Departure
Rental accommodation: On the day of departure indicated on your contract, the rental accommodation must be vacated before 10 am. The accommodation will be returned in perfect condition and the inventory sheet will be checked at that time. Any object found broken or deteriorated will be your responsibility, as well as the restoration of the premises should this be necessary. The deposit will be refunded at the end of your stay after deduction by way of compensation for any damages noted on the inventory sheet of the premises upon exit and justified with the corresponding invoice. Withholding of the deposit does not preclude additional compensation in the event that the costs exceed the amount thereof.
Rental accommodation: if the accommodation has not been cleaned before your departure, your will be charged a cleaning fee of € 80 VAT incl.
In the event of late departure, an additional day will be charged for at the current nightly rate.
PARTNER AQUATIC PARK
Customers staying in an accommodation or camping site enjoy free access to the partner water park "The Bay of Pirates" for the duration of their stay. Swimming shorts are strictly prohibited. It is mandatory to wear the bracelet and traditional swim briefs. Upon non- compliance with the rules of the water park,
Customers may be denied access for part or all of their stay. (see regulation at the entrance to the water park).
IMAGE
You hereby authorise "Les Sables d’Or" Village Club, as well as any person operating on their behalf, to photograph record, or film you during your stay, and to use said images, sounds, videos and recordings on all media (in particular on the sites or Internet pages xxxxxxx-xxxxxxxxx.xxx - including Facebook, on presentation and promotional materials, and on travel or tourist guides). This authorisation is valid for you as well as for people staying with you. Its sole purpose is to promote and animate "Les Sables d'Or" Village Club and in no way harm your reputation. This authorisation is granted free of charge, for all countries and for a period of five years.

Any possible complaint concerning the non-conformity of the services with the contractual commitments can be reported:

LIABILITY
Customers expressly acknowledge that "Les Sables d'Or" Village Club cannot be held responsible for any false information communicated by its partners or any third-party that would be mentioned in the brochure or the website of "Les Sables d'Or" Village Club concerning the host sites, including presentation photos, descriptions, activities, hobbies, services and dates of operation.
All photos and texts used in the brochure or on the website of the "Les Sables d'Or" Village Club have no contractual nature and are merely indicative. It may happen that certain activities and facilities offered by "Les Sables d'Or" Village Club and indicated in the brochure are cancelled, especially for weather-related reasons, or in case of force majeure as defined by the French courts .

The information that you communicate to us in connection with your order will not be transmitted to any third party. This information will be considered as strictly confidential by "Les Sables d'Or" Village Club. They will be used only by the internal services of "Les Sables d'Or" Village Club, for the processing of your order and to reinforce and personalise the communication and the offer of services reserved to customers of "Les Sables d'Or" Village Club according to your interests. In accordance with the Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978, you have the right to access, amend, and object to any personal information about you.
