Nature of the Agreement. 4.1. The parties wish to contract with each other solely on the basis of a contract for services within the meaning of Section 7:400 et seq. of the Dutch Civil Code. The Parties explicitly do not intend to enter into an employment contract within the meaning of Section 7:610 of the Dutch Civil Code, nor do they intend to establish an employment relationship, which will be regarded as a (fictitious) employment relationship for the purposes of payroll taxes. The Fee paid by the Client does not constitute wages, but constitutes a fee for performing the Services as agreed in the Agreement.
