Joint Processes. ‌ It is recognized that the Employer retains inherent management rights and responsibilities to operate and manage its business and direct its work force including the right to hire, select, transfer, promote, suspend, discharge, demote and discipline or lay off any employee, subject to the terms of this Agreement. Employees will be responsible for participating in meetings, called by the Staff Director or the Staff Officer- Administrative Services, on a regular basis, for the purpose of consultation and to allow reasonable opportunity for consensus and/or employee inputs to decisions concerning the selection, de-selection, training and development, cost accounting and reporting, compensation administration, administration of agreement, health and safety, job assignments, budgets, appraisals, scheduling, resource allocation, employee services, office equipment and facilities, goal setting and work standards and quality. The SSU will be provided an opportunity to make prior input to decisions involving organizational change that trigger the lay off procedure. The structure of the SEP reflects the partnership with its employees. It will continue to be SEP's practice to assign staff resources, consistent with work plan priorities and resource limitations, to self directed and integrated SEP committees and teams. Employees will be encouraged to perform their role as full team members on such SEP working committees or project teams that may also consist of elected representatives and/or SEP members. SEP Committees and teams which have a membership consisting of SSU represented staff will be encouraged to utilize consensus decision-making with a strong focus on both current and near term decisions affecting the planning and production of work. They will constantly seek improvement in quality, efficiency and service.‌

  • Allowable Customizations The Student is permitted to alter or add files to customize the assigned Computer to her/his own working style (i.e., background screens and images, display settings).

  • Manufacturing (a) The Supplier shall without limitation be responsible, at no additional cost to the Purchaser, for: sourcing and procuring all raw materials for the Products; obtaining all necessary approvals, permits and licenses for the manufacturing of the Products; providing sufficient qualified staff and workers to perform the obligations under this Purchase Agreement; implementing and maintaining effective inventory and production control procedures with respect to the Products; and handling other matters as reasonably requested by the Purchaser from time to time.

  • Commercialization Intrexon shall have the right to develop and Commercialize the Reverted Products itself or with one or more Third Parties, and shall have the right, without obligation to Fibrocell, to take any such actions in connection with such activities as Intrexon (or its designee), at its discretion, deems appropriate.

  • EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES 1. In this agreement, extra-curricular programs and activities include all those that are beyond the provincially prescribed and locally determined curricula of the school.

  • Development Activities The Development activities referred to in item “b” of paragraph 3.1 include: studies and projects of implementation of the Production facilities; drilling and completion of the Producing and injection xxxxx; and installation of equipment and vessels for extraction, collection, Treatment, storage, and transfer of Oil and Gas. The installation referred to in item “c” includes, but is not limited to, offshore platforms, pipelines, Oil and Gas Treatment plants, equipment and facilities for measurement of the inspected Production, wellhead equipment, production pipes, flow lines, tanks, and other facilities exclusively intended for extraction, as well as oil and gas pipelines for Production Outflow and their respective compressor and pumping stations.

  • Processes Any employer, employee, trade union or employer’s association may at any point in time apply for an exemption from any of the provisions of this Collective Agreement. The applicant is required to complete and submit in writing with the relevant office of the Council, a fully and properly completed prescribed application for exemption form, accompanied by all relevant supporting documentation.

  • Program Costs 3.1 The Province will pay the University of British Columbia’s Faculty of Medicine for the costs of the Participant’s Postgraduate Medical Education. Annually, the cost to the Province to fund the Participant’s Postgraduate Medical Education is approximately $150,000, including the Participant’s salary and benefits.
