Section 7.3. 2 Each employee shall be assigned to a definite shift with designated times of beginning and ending.
Section 7.3. 37 Each employee shall be assigned to a definite shift with designated times of beginning and ending. The 38 first shift is defined as any work shift beginning between 5:00 A.M. and 11:59 A.M. The second shift 39 is defined as any work shift beginning between 12:00 Noon and 9:59 P.M. The third shift is defined as 40 any work shift beginning between 10:00 P.M. and 4:59 A.M. 41
Section 7.3. 19 Employees required to work through their regular lunch periods will be given time to eat at a time 20 agreed upon by the employee and his/her supervisor. In the event the District requires an employee to 21 forego his/her lunch period and the employee works his/her entire shift, including the lunch period, 22 he/she shall be compensated for the foregone lunch period.
Section 7.3. 38 Each employee shall be assigned to a definite and regular shift and workweek, which shall not be 39 changed without prior notice to the employee of two (2) calendar weeks; provided, however, this 40 notice may be waived by consent of the employee, or by the employer during an emergency situation.
Section 7.3. 34 Each employee will be assigned to a regular shift with designated times of beginning and ending. The 35 first shift is defined as any work shift beginning between 5:00 A.M. and 11:29 A.M. The second shift 36 is defined as any work shift beginning between 11:30 A.M. and 9:59 P.M. The third shift is defined as 37 any work shift beginning between 10:00 P.M. and 4:59 A.M. This section (7.3.) does not include 38 Paraeducators and Child Nutrition personnel.
Section 7.3. 32 If an employee works on listed holidays, the employee will be paid time and one-half the regular rate of 33 the employee's salary in addition to the holiday pay.
Section 7.3. 7 Should the years of completed service of first, fifth, or tenth occur during an employee's work year, the 8 accrued vacation days shall be calculated upon a prorated basis.
Section 7.3. 22 Each employee shall be assigned to a definite shift with designated times of beginning and ending as 23 reasonably possible; a thirty (30) minute uninterrupted, unpaid lunch period as near the middle of the 24 shift as is practicable; a fifteen (15) minute first half and a fifteen (15) minute second half rest period, 25 both of which rest periods shall occur as near the middle of each half shift as is practicable. An 26 employee must work at least six (6) hours per day to receive both rest periods. If a shift is to be 27 changed, notice shall be given as soon as practicable.
Section 7.3. 36 All regular work shifts assigned will be for a minimum of three (3) hours. 37
Section 7.3. 46 Shifts shall be designated first, second and third in consonance with the following definitions: the first 47 shift is defined as having the majority of time between 5:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.; the second or swing shift 1 is designated as any shift with the majority of time after 4:00 p.m.; and the third shift is defined as having 2 the majority of time between midnight and 5:00 a.m.
