Vacation Anniversary Date. The words “vacation anniversary date” when used in this Agreement will mean the date of January 01 of the year in which the employee was hired.
Vacation Anniversary Date. An employee's anniversary of employment date will govern his attainment of vacation entitlement. His vacation pay and time off will be adjusted from his anniversary date.
Vacation Anniversary Date. An employee becomes eligible for vacation pay on his anniversary date and shall be paid for same should he terminate or be discharged prior to being granted his vacation. HOLIDAY IN VACATION—If a holiday specified in Article II falls within an employee’s scheduled vacation period, the employee will receive an extra day’s pay. PART TIMER’ S VACATION— Part time employees shall be granted vacations on the same basis as full time employees, except that their vacation pay shall be based on the hours worked during the year preceding the anniversary date of employment divided by fifty-two (52). MIXED SERVICE VACATIONS— Employees with mixed full time and part-time service shall receive their vacation based on their last year of service divided by 52 and shall be measured by the employee’s last hiring date.
Vacation Anniversary Date. 23 The anniversary date for establishing vacation credits shall be July 1st. Employees hired during the 24 period of July 1st through December 31st shall begin their second (2nd) year of service for vacation 25 credit purposes on the July 1st immediately following their initial day of compensated service.
Vacation Anniversary Date. To avoid fractional vacation periods, the anniversary date for vacations shall be January 1 or July 1. An employee who is hired between October 1 and March 31 has a January 1 anniversary date. An employee who is hired between April 1 and September 30 has a July 1 anniversary date. This means that an employee who completes eight (8) years of service by March 31 will receive 10-days of vacation leave by that year. If the employee completes eight (8) years of service between April 1 and September 30, he will receive nine (9) days of vacation leave for that year.
Vacation Anniversary Date. The Company agrees that it will continue its practice of using the employee’s anniversary date for the purposes of vacation entitlement under Article 20 of the collective agreement.
