Paid Release Time. Employees will be provided a reasonable amount of time during their normal working hours to meet with the union xxxxxxx and/or staff representative to process a grievance. In addition, employees will be released during their normal working hours to attend meetings or hearings scheduled by management for the following:
Paid Release Time. Union stewards will be granted a reasonable amount of time, as determined by the Employer, during their normal working hours to investigate and process grievances through Step 3 of the grievance process in accordance with Article 30,

Paid Release Time a. The total cumulative use of paid release time for the AFSCME designated employee representative shall be limited to 10 hours in any one month. University convened meetings pursuant to Article 10, -- Grievance Procedure, shall not be deducted from this block of time.
Paid Release Time. Subject to the preamble of this clause, release time shall be granted, with no loss of regular pay or benefits, from regularly scheduled hours, for the following purposes:
Paid Release Time. (a) It is acknowledged by the Parties that all Union Stewards have regular duties to perform as Employees of the Employer. Therefore, Union Stewards will not leave their duties without first obtaining the permission of their Supervisor, or designate. Requests for Union Release Time, paid or unpaid, shall not be unreasonably denied. Meetings involving the Branch Local President will not be scheduled on her day off without her agreement.
Paid Release Time. Unit members attending evening school classes shall be required to complete a normal work day on those days when they are scheduled to attend evening classes.
Paid Release Time. The College has granted to College employees who are Union officers for the bargaining unit two hundred and fifty (250) paid hours per fiscal year to be used for the investigation and adjustment of grievances through Level V of the grievance procedure and other Union business, such as meeting with new employees. Scheduled meetings where both the Union and Management are present, such as negotiations, arbitrations, fact-finding, and mediation, shall not be deducted from the allotted Union hours. Only time spent during scheduled working hours by representatives who are employees shall be charged against the paid-time allowance. Such paid time shall be charged and paid on written notice to the College’s Senior Human Resources Manager or designee. Such written notice shall include the names of the employees authorized to use the paid-time allowance, the amount each employee is authorized to use, and the nature of Union business. Such time shall be notated on the respective cost center payroll sheets as paid Union business, and each employee shall complete a Departmental Approval and Data Entry Form, which must be signed by the effected employee's immediate supervisor or designee.
Paid Release Time. 12 The following provision is in conformance to the Court's Decision and Order 13 in Milwaukee Deputy Sheriffs' Association and Xxxxxx Xxxxxx v. Milwaukee 14 County Sheriff Xxxxx X. Xxxxx, Xx., Milwaukee County Case No. 2005-CV-5278.
Paid Release Time. The Employer and the Union agree that to the extent possible, all City/Union business, for example, the investigation and processing of complaints, disputes, and grievances, disciplinary hearings and attendance at executive board and general meetings, and meetings with the employer pertaining to employment relations, will be scheduled and conducted at such time as will cause the least interference with the regularly scheduled work hours of the union official responsible for representing the union in those matters. The parties recognize that from time to time, it may be necessary for City/Union business to be carried on during regular working hours, and to that extent the parties agree that the City shall provide to the Executive Board paid release time in the total amount of 800 hours per year. The City may, in its sole discretion, grant paid release time in excess of this amount if it deems it to be in the best interest of the City. Where such activities are necessarily or reasonable to be performed during working hours, they may be done without loss of pay, provided the representative notifies the appropriate Division Chief or designee prior to taking such leave. All such Union leave time will be reported on an appropriate time reporting form provided by management.
