00 - PURPOSE. 1:01 The purpose of this Agreement is to establish mutually satisfactory relations between the Employer and its Employees, to provide machinery for the prompt and equitable disposition of grievances, and to establish and maintain satisfactory working conditions, hours of work and wages for all Employees who are subject to the provisions of this Agreement. 1:02 It is agreed by the Parties hereto that every covenant, proviso and agreement shall enure to the benefit of and be binding upon the Parties hereto and their assigns, and that all covenants herein shall be construed as being joint and several and that, when the context so requires or permits, the singular number shall read as if the plural were expressed and the masculine gender as if the feminine, as the case may be, were expressed.
