42B Small Generation Resource Clause Samples
The 42B Small Generation Resource clause defines the terms and conditions under which small-scale electricity generation resources, such as rooftop solar panels or small wind turbines, are integrated into the broader energy system. It typically outlines eligibility criteria for what qualifies as a 'small' resource, the process for connecting to the grid, and the obligations of both the resource owner and the utility. This clause ensures that small generators can participate in energy markets or supply power to the grid in a safe and standardized manner, addressing issues of access, safety, and operational consistency.
