A NOTIFICATION OF RECOMMENDATION FOR REDUCTION. If removal or dismissal results from a decision of the Board to decrease the number of teachers employed by the Board or discontinuance of some particular type of teaching service, such removals or dismissals shall be accomplished in accordance with Section 24-12 of the School Code, including other applicable sections of the School Code of Illinois. The Administration will discuss possible alternatives with the Association upon request and the Board and Association shall negotiate the impact of any decision to reduce-in-force.
