Common use of Abbreviated Procedure Clause in Contracts

Abbreviated Procedure. Any policy grievance, Company grievance or a discharge grievance shall be submitted directly to Step 2 the earlier of: (i) Within twenty (20) days of the incident giving rise to the grievance; or (ii) Within twenty (20) days of the date on which the employee(s), Union and Company was notified/informed; or (iii) Within twenty (20) days of the date where the employee(s), Union and Company should otherwise have reasonably been aware of the incident giving rise to the grievance.
