Absence Due to Jury Duty or Witness Service. An employee who is absent because of jury duty summons or subpoena for service as a witness will be paid for such absence. However, it is expected that the employee who is excused from court duty on any day at a time that will permit the employee to work at the office will communicate with the appropriate management representative for such assignment as is reasonable under the circumstances.
