PAYMENT FOR TIME NOT WORKED. 21.01 Jury Duty and Court Leave Leave of absence with pay will be granted to an employee for jury duty or to appear in Court in the interests of the Employer. In addition, a leave of absence with pay will be granted to an employee subpoenaed to Court to serve as a witness. Any compensation received from the Court for this service will be turned over to the Employer.

PAYMENT FOR TIME NOT WORKED. 18.1 In the unfortunate event of the death of an immediate family member, an employee is provided time off with pay to grieve, assist in making arrangements and/or to attend the funeral or services of a close relative. The length of time off shall not exceed: five scheduled workdays for the following immediate family members: spouse, domestic partner, father, mother, son, R daughter (includes step-parents and step-children and children of domestic partner) three scheduled workdays for the following immediate family members: brother, step-brother, sister, step-sister, mother-in-law, father-in-law, parents of domestic partner, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, grandmother, grandfather, grandmother-in-law, grandfather- in-law, grandchild, aunt, and uncle. PAYMENT FOR TIME NOT WORKED. FUNERAL LEAVE Section 33.01 If an employee is absent from scheduled duties because of death in the family, straight-time pay shall be made for up to five days of paid leave for a death in the “immediate family” and up to three days leave for “other covered relatives.”

The Company may require a physical examination to support any claimed illness or injury; the expense of any such examination shall be paid by the Company. When any regular employee is required to be absent from duty due to death in his immediate family consisting of wife, husband, child, step-child, mother, father, sister, brother, sister-in-law, father-in-law, brother-in-law, mother-in-law, grandmother, grandfather, grandchild, grandparent-in-law, or any other relative living in the same house with the employee, a payment shall be made for such period as is deemed reasonable by the employee's supervisor under the circumstances. PAYMENT FOR TIME NOT WORKED. Full basic pay shall be allowed for the following absences:
(a) Time lost on account of jury or other court duty, not to exceed four (4) days per calendar year.
(b) Illness not compensated for under the Workmen's Compensation Law. Any employee who becomes ill during the contract year will be entitled to days of illness in respect to Company Policy regarding absence. Each employee shall accrue eight (8) hours of illness time for each month ofemployment. Unused illness time shall accumulate to a maximum of 80 days.
(1) Employees may use available sick time in conjunction with their Short and Long Term Disability benefits and State disability benefits if applicable, to receive the equivalent of 100% of their daily earnings, unless they return to work or exhaust their sick time.
(2) The Company may require a physical examination to support anyclaimed illness or injury; the expense of any such examination shall be paid by the Company.
(c) Payments for absence due to a death in the family may be allowed for full-time employees with a minimum of ninety (90) days of service as described below. Pay for this purpose shall be eight (8.0) hours at the employees straight-time rate for each day taken. Management may require documentation in support of requested paid time off.
(1) Employees absent due to death of a child, step-child, spouse or Legally Recognized Partner, parent or any relative listed in paragraph 2 or 3 below who resides in the same house with the employee will be excused from duty without loss of pay for up to a maximum of three (3) work days beginning with the day of death through one day after the day of the funeral. In addition, in the event of a death as noted herein, employees shall upon request be excused from scheduled time for two (2) additional unpaid days. Paid Vacation Days may be substituted for these days at the employee's option.
(2) Except as provided for in paragraph 1 above, employees absent due to the death of a stepparent, brother, sister, father-in-law, mother-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandparent or grandchild will be excused from duty without loss of pay for up to a maximum of two (2) work days beginning with the day of death through one day after the day of the funeral.
