Common use of Absence in Response to Subpoena Clause in Contracts

Absence in Response to Subpoena. Employee Not a Party to Court Case or Administrative Hearing. A. Statement must be signed by the employee and filed with the Treasurer stating that either; 1. No compensation was received as a result of the court appearance, or 2. Compensation was received in the amount shown. B. The amount of any witness fee or other compensation, except that which is paid specifically for expenses incurred by reason of the subpoena shall be remitted to the office of the Treasurer before the end of the current pay period. Adherence to this regulation will result in no loss of salary.
