ABSENCES AND DISCIPLINE. Section 1 Employees not expecting to work because of emergencies or because of other excusable absences must notify the Officer in Charge of the tour of duty at least one hour before scheduled to report to work, unless the employee is precluded from such notification for justifiable reasons as may be acceptable to the City.
