Absences Because of an Injury on Duty. 0341. Upon the request of a Full-time, benefit eligible or part-time employee with accrued paid absence leave who is absent from work as a result of a compensable injury covered under the provisions of the Worker's Compensation Act, the School Board will pay the difference between the compensation received by the employee and the employee's daily rate of pay to the extent of the employee's accumulated paid absence leave and/or earned vacation.
