Duration of Insurance Contributions. An employee is eligible for School District contribution as provided in this article as long as the employee is employed by the School District, on paid status, and enrolled in the School District’s group health and hospitalization insurance plan. Upon termination of employment, all School District contributions shall cease.
Duration of Insurance Contributions. Subd. 1. A teacher is eligible for school district contributions as provided in this Article as long as the K-12 teacher is employed by Independent School District 272. Upon termination of employment, all school district contribu- tions shall cease effective on the last day of the month that the employee terminates employment. However, a K-12 teacher who has been employed for the full school year shall be entitled to school district contributions for insurance as provided in this Article, except for long-term disability insurance, for twelve (12) calendar months (September 1-August 31), as provided herein.

Upon termination of employment, all board participation and contribution shall cease effective on the last day of the month.

Upon termination of employment, full-time and part-time Employees shall have such rights of conversion or continuation of coverage as provided by law or the insurance contract(s).

Teachers completing a full school year of employment shall continue to receive the District contribution toward the monthly premium for group health and hospitalization through August 31st of that year.

An employee will receive the monthly District contributions as provided in this Article as long as the employee is actively employed in an eligible position (Art 11.2 or Art 11.9 eligibility) on paid status or approved FMLA leave by the District. Upon termination of employment, leaving an eligible position covered by the School Nutrition unit, or if the hours of work drop below the .5 FTE level, all Board participation and contribution shall cease effective at the end of the month following the last working day in an eligible position.

Employees terminating employment with the School District shall be eligible for continued coverage as per the terms and conditions of the existing insurance policies.
