Absences Due to Traffic Citations. A bargaining unit employee who has been issued a citation for a traffic violation while on Government business or Government property and who is found by authorities to be not guilty or the charges are dismissed will be given excused absence to cover the time for appearing in court. This time will include reasonable travel time to court. The bargaining unit employee must present documentation of the court’s findings to management to be granted excused leave.
