Academic Institutions. If Licensee is an academic institution, it may (a) supply single copies of articles from the Licensed Materials to a noncommercial library located in the same country as Licensee by mail, fax or secure electronic transmission in accordance with Section 108 of the United States Copyright Act and with guidelines developed by the National Commission of New Technological Uses of Copyrighted Works (CONTU); and (b) incorporate individual articles from the Licensed Materials into electronic course packs, so long as Licensee deletes the Licensed Materials from electronic course packs at the end of the academic year in which they were used.
Academic Institutions. (a) SISW will provide Maintenance Services to Academic Institution, but not individual Authorized Users, between the hours of 8:00
a. m. and 5:00 p.m. in local time zones of the contiguous United States, Monday through Friday, excluding SISW observed holidays. Academic Institution will designate a trained technical contact who will serve as a focal point for administering and resolving all Academic Institution requests for support. The technical contact will use best efforts to solve Academic Institution problems or issues related to the Academic Product prior to contacting SISW for assistance. The technical contact will forward all service requests to SISW and will also serve as the recipient of all on-site Maintenance Services.
(b) Maintenance Services are provided only for the most current release of the Academic Products and consist of the following: (i) telephone support; (ii) bulletin board service in which Academic Institution may electronically log software support requests and access release notes and software information; and (iii) upgrades to the Academic Products, if and when made available by SISW. Upgrades will not include separate software modules that are available for license at additional charge. Academic Institution will install all software updates within 30 days after receipt thereof, or at the end of Academic Institution current semester, whichever is later.
Academic Institutions. If you are an academic institution, school, or public library the following license rights also apply:
(a) Interlibrary Loan (ILL). You may loan digital or print copies of materials retrieved from the Product to other

(b) Software Maintenance Services and Cloud Services support are provided only for the most current release of the Academic Offerings and consist of the following: (i) telephone support; (ii) bulletin board service in which Academic Institution may electronically log support requests and access release notes and software information; and (iii) updates and upgrades to the Software Academic Offerings, if and when made available by SISW. Upgrades will not include separate software modules or Cloud Services that are available at additional charge. Academic Institution will install all software updates within 30 days after receipt thereof, or at the end of Academic Institution current semester, whichever is later.
Academic Institutions. Developer shall notify any academic institution that it proposes to CONTRACT NUMBER: Nanosys DA-01 use as a subcontractor that the work will be funded by the CIA.
Academic Institutions. Academic Institutions. Developer shall, in accordance with applicable Intelligence Community policies, notify any academic institution that it proposes to use as a subcontractor that the work will be funded by the Intelligence Community.
Academic Institutions. If the Licensee is an academic institution, "Authorized Users" will consist solely of faculty (permanent or visiting), students, staff, and walk-in users of the Licensee, in each case solely to the extent associated with the single campus identified in the Subscription Information. This Agreement does NOT permit use of the Digital Archive on more than one campus of Licensee or sharing of this resource among a regional consortium. To the extent that an institution wishes to acquire licenses for multiple campuses, each campus must enter into a separate license agreement with the Bulletin. For the purpose of this agreement, a single campus is any location that receives its own listing in the Carnegie classification system. The Bulletin reserves the right to refuse to grant a license to any institution claiming a range of IP addresses that, in the sole opinion of the Bulletin, represents more than one campus.
Academic Institutions. The Contractor shall ensure that project outputs appear in peer reviewed journals to ensure outputs get to the academic market.
