Common use of Access Roads Clause in Contracts

Access Roads. All access roads must be maintained by the Developer in good repair acceptable to the Municipality’s Engineer during the time of construction. This shall include the removal of mud tracked from the Subdivision as well as dust control. No roadway outside the limits of the proposed Subdivision may be closed without the written consent of the Municipality. To obtain such consent, the Developer shall advise the Director of Public Works, not later than fourteen (14) days prior to the proposed closure, of the date, time and duration they wish to close a roadway. All costs for advertising the closure and signage shall be borne by the Developer. The Municipality reserves the right to limit or prohibit the use of any existing access road by the Developer.
