Common use of Access to Personal File Clause in Contracts

Access to Personal File. 11.01 Upon written request by the employee to the Company, the Company, as soon as is possible following receipt of the request, agrees to allow the employee, in the presence of the Director of Human Resources, or their designated representative, to have visual access to all of their personal file(s) located at the Winnipeg Branch once per calendar year. The time taken for such a review shall not be during the employee's normal working hours, unless the Senior Human Resources Administrator otherwise agrees. 11.02 An employee may request a copy of specific documents on the employee’s personnel file. This provision shall not be unreasonably denied.
