Accident Investigations. The Union will be notified of the time and place of any investigation which arises out of an accident involving a CUPE member. The Union may elect to have a representative in attendance. 46.04 Unsafe Conditions After notifying her/his immediate supervisor and the University Safety Officer, an employee may refuse, without loss of pay, to work under conditions she/he considers unsafe, until the University Safety Officer has checked the condition and reported to the department and the employee(s) involved. Upon written request, a written confirmation of such oral report shall be made to the department(s) and the employee(s) involved within one (1) working day.
