Common use of ACCUMULATED VACATION ALLOWANCE Clause in Contracts

ACCUMULATED VACATION ALLOWANCE. A permanent employee who is dismissed or resigns shall be granted accumulated vacation allowance. The monetary value of accumulated vacation allowance may be paid in lieu of carrying the employee on the payroll. A probationary employee who has not completed six months of regular employment is not entitled to any vacation allowance upon separation (Ed. Code 88197).
