Common use of Accuracy of Work Clause in Contracts

Accuracy of Work. The CONSULTANT shall be responsible for the accuracy of the work and shall promptly correct errors and omissions in its plans and specifications without additional compensation. The CONSULTANT shall give immediate attention to these changes so there will be a minimum of delay to others. Acceptance of the work by the CITY will not relieve the CONSULTANT of the responsibility for subsequent correction of any errors and the clarification of any ambiguities.

CONSULTANT shall prepare any plans, report, field work, or data required by COUNTY to correct its errors or omissions. The above consultation, clarification or correction shall be made without added compensation to consultant. CONSULTANT shall give immediate attention to these changes so there will be a minimum of delay to others. Acceptance of the work by the CITY will not relieve the CONSULTANT of the responsibility for subsequent correction of any errors and the clarification of any ambiguities.
