You may stop payment on a check drawn against your account by a record or written order or other confirmation as allowed by us, provided that we receive the Stop Payment Order in a time and manner that gives us a reasonable opportunity to act on it. The Stop Payment Order must describe the item or account with reasonable certainty. Oral requests for a Stop Payment Order are binding on us for 14 calendar days only, and must be confirmed by you in a record or writing within that period. If the record or written confirmation is not received as specified, we will no longer be bound by your request.
