Common use of Acting Administrative Positions-Terms and Conditions Clause in Contracts

Acting Administrative Positions-Terms and Conditions. (i) The parties agree that an employee who is a member of the Bargaining Unit may substitute for an absent Principal/vice-Principal for a period not to exceed twenty (20) days. The temporary Principal/vice-Principal shall be paid the following salary: 1/194 of Year 1 of the Vice-Principal's Salary Grid times the number of days in the position starting at a rate of 0.5 days or greater. This compensation will accumulate by increments of 0.5 (e.g. 0.5, 1.0, 1.5 days etc.). This salary shall be in lieu of the employee's regular salary.
