Common use of ACTING PRINCIPAL/VICE-PRINCIPAL Clause in Contracts

ACTING PRINCIPAL/VICE-PRINCIPAL. 19.01 The Parties agree that a Teacher who is a member of the Bargaining Unit may substitute for an absent Principal/Vice-Principal for a period of not less than a day on a temporary basis not to exceed twenty (20) consecutive work days or forty (40) days in a school year. The Teacher in charge shall be paid an allowance of $40 per day in addition to regular salary and allowances. Effective September 1, 2005, the allowance will be $50 per day.
