ACTING RANKS, CAREER DEVELOPMENT AND CONFIRMED RANKS, COACH OFFICERS. 6.1 Where a member has been directed by the Chief of the Xxxxxxxx Police Service to perform, on a temporary basis, the duties of a higher rank, the member shall be paid the normal rate of pay of such higher rank for each period or periods that the member performs such duties.
