Common use of ACTING RANKS Clause in Contracts

ACTING RANKS. Any employee designated by the Chief to perform the duties of a higher rank or position for a continuous period of more than ten (10) days shall receive the salary of the higher rank or position during the time the employee acts in that capacity.

ACTING RANKS. Any employee designated by the Chief to perform the duties of a higher rank or position for for: - a continuous period of more than ten (10) days, or - a total of twenty (20) days in any one calendar year, shall receive the salary of the higher rank or position during the time the employee acts in that capacity.
