ACTING WITHIN THE COURSE AND SCOPE. OF EMPLOYMENT Union members participating in US&R training exercises and/or deployments, shall be considered as acting within course and scope of employment for the purpose of entitlement to death and disability retirement benefits under California Worker’s Compensation and Retirement laws.
