Action by Design Professionals When Referrals Available. The design professional shall interview each applicant prior to making the decision to hire or not to hire. The design professional shall make the final determination whether the applicant is qualified for the trainee position and the ultimate hiring decision. The Agency strongly encourages the design professional to hire a qualified San Francisco resident referred by the educational institution(s). The design professional shall notify the educational institution in writing of the hiring decision.
