ACTIVATED PARTIAL. THROMBOPLASTIN TIME Activated partial thromboplastin time (APTT) is reflective of the activity and quantity of coagulation factors II, V, VIII, XII and fibrinogen. APTT is the measured time from activation by silica or ellagic acid, to an initial clot formation. However, the prolongation of APTT is first evident when an individual coagulation factor is reduced by 70-80% (Lindhoff-Last et al., 2010) and when very little of the overall thrombin has been formed. (Xxxx et al., 1996) Additionally, APTT does not reflect or predict the overall bleeding or clotting potential of an individual. Heparin affects APTT in a linear, concentration dependent manner. Rivaroxaban has been shown to prolong APTT, even at low concentrations, in a curvilinear concentration-response relationship but its effect varies depending on the reagent used and this correlation has not been consistently replicated across studies. ( Xxxxxx et al., 2010; Xxxxxxx et al., 2011) Rivaroxaban has less of an effect on APTT than on PT. (Xxxxxxxx-Last et al., 2010)

  • Experience Credit a. For the purpose of this article, a teacher teaching on call (TTOC) shall be credited with one (1) day of experience for each full-time equivalent day worked.

  • Trunk Side A Central Office Switch connection that is capable of, and has been programmed to treat the circuit as, connecting to another switching entity, for example, to another carrier’s network. Trunk side connections offer those transmission and signaling features appropriate for the connection of switching entities and cannot be used for the direct connection of ordinary telephone station sets.

  • Unbundled Channelization (Multiplexing) 5.7.1 To the extent NewPhone is purchasing DS1 or DS3 or STS-1 Dedicated Transport pursuant to this Agreement, Unbundled Channelization (UC) provides the optional multiplexing capability that will allow a DS1 (1.544 Mbps) or DS3 (44.736 Mbps) or STS-1 (51.84 Mbps) Network Elements to be multiplexed or channelized at a BellSouth central office. Channelization can be accomplished through the use of a multiplexer or a digital cross-connect system at the discretion of BellSouth. Once UC has been installed, NewPhone may request channel activation on a channelized facility and BellSouth shall connect the requested facilities via COCIs. The COCI must be compatible with the lower capacity facility and ordered with the lower capacity facility. This service is available as defined in NECA 4.

  • CURVE WIDENING The minimum widening placed on the inside of curves is:  6 feet for curves of 50 to 79 feet radius.  4 feet for curves of 80 to 100 feet radius.

  • Experience Credits Full credit for public school teaching outside of the District shall be granted up to the limits of the salary schedule.

  • Induction The Employer shall provide a copy of this agreement to newly hired employees within the first thirty (30) days of employment and shall introduce newly hired employees to a Union Shop Xxxxxxx in the workplace. The Shop Xxxxxxx will be given an opportunity, not to exceed fifteen (15) minutes, to talk to the new employee. The new employee and the Shop Xxxxxxx will not have wages or benefits deducted during this time.

  • Therapist Availability Therapist’s office is equipped with a confidential voice mail system that allows Patient to leave a message at any time. Therapist will make every effort to return calls within 24 hours (or by the next business day), but cannot guarantee the calls will be returned immediately. Therapist is unable to provide 24-hour crisis service. In the event that Patient is feeling unsafe or requires immediate medical or psychiatric assistance, he/she should call 911, or go to the nearest emergency room.

  • Underutilization Underutilization of Interconnection Trunks and facilities exists when provisioned capacity of trunks in service for more than six (6) months is greater than the current need. This over-provisioning is an inefficient deployment and use of network resources and results in unnecessary costs. Those situations where more capacity exists than actual usage will be handled in the following manner:
