Common use of ADDITIONAL BOND SECURITY Clause in Contracts

ADDITIONAL BOND SECURITY. The Contractor shall promptly furnish additional security required to protect HISD and persons supplying labor or materials under this Contract if: 1. Any surety upon any bond furnished with this Contract becomes unacceptable to HISD. 2. Any surety fails to furnish reports on its financial condition as required by HISD, or 3. The Job Order price is increased so that the penal sum of any bond becomes inadequate in the opinion of HISD.
