Additional Funding Distribution and Assurance of Appropriate Use of Funds. If the Recipient is a State Government, the following paragraphs apply: Certification by Governor — Not later than April 3, 2009, for funds provided to any State or agency thereof by the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act of 2009, Pub. L. 111-5, the Governor of the State shall certify that: 1) the state will request and use funds provided by the Act; and 2) the funds will be used to create jobs and promote economic growth.
