Common use of Additional Locks Clause in Contracts

Additional Locks. a. Absolutely no additional locks or hasps of any kind may be used or installed. If you wish to have a deadbolt installed, Landlord will arrange for it, with a charge to Tenant which includes labor, installation, materials, keys, etc. Hasps are a safety hazard and will be removed immediately and 1 Landlord will also press charges Tenant will be billed accordingly. Bedroom keys are not provided unless specifically requested. If it becomes necessary to install a bedroom lock, the cost of labor and materials will be billed to Tenant.
