Additional Quantities. i. All employees in receipt of a uniform under the provisions of the Article shall be eligible to receive a replacement issue on a one for one basis when the uniform is returned and proves to be damaged and rendered unusable as a result of the employee’s work activities. However, employees shall be responsible for the cost of replacement for loss or damage of the uniform if it is deemed not to be the result of normal work related wear and tear. ii. An employee may choose to purchase additional quantities of eligible uniform item(s), through the County, at their own cost. Employees are not permitted to purchase uniform items that are not listed for their position
