  • General Requirements for Insurance Coverage and Policies A. All required insurance policies shall be maintained with companies that may lawfully issue the required policy and have an A.M. Best rating of at least A- / “VII” or a Standard and Poor’s rating of at least A, unless prior written approval is obtained from the City Law Department.

  • Additional Requirements for All Policies All policies shall be endorsed to provide at least thirty (30) days' advance written notice to City of cancellation of policy for any reason, nonrenewal or reduction in coverage and specific notice mailed to City's address for notices pursuant to Article 15.

Upon request from the Judicial Council, the Contractor shall furnish an insurance certificate evidencing required insurance coverage acceptable to the Judicial Council. The Contractor may also be required to have the Judicial Council shown as an additional insured on selected policies.

  • Specific Requirements for Commercial General Liability Contractor shall purchase and maintain occurrence coverage with combined single limits for bodily injury, personal injury, and property damage of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate per year to cover such claims as may be caused by any act, omission, or negligence of Contractor or its officers, agents, representatives, assigns, or subcontractors. State, its officers, officials, employees, and volunteers are to be covered and listed as additional insureds for liability arising out of activities performed by or on behalf of Contractor, including the insured's general supervision of Contractor, products, and completed operations, and the premises owned, leased, occupied, or used.

  • PROFESSIONAL LIABILITY INSURANCE (ERRORS & OMISSIONS) Professional Liability Insurance for Errors and Omissions coverage in the amount of not less than ($1,000,000). If CONTRACTOR sub-contracts in support of CONTRACTOR’S work provided for in the agreement, Professional Liability Insurance for Errors shall be provided by the sub-contractor in an amount not less than one million dollars ($1,000,000) in aggregate. The insurance coverage provided by the CONTRACTOR shall contain language providing coverage up to one (1) year following completion of the contract in order to provide insurance coverage for the hold harmless provisions herein if the policy is a claims-made policy.

  • Standards for Insurers Required Insurance must be placed with licensed insurers admitted to transact business in the State of California with a current A.M. Best’s rating of A V or better, or, if insurance is placed with a surplus lines insurer, insurer must be listed on the State of California List of Eligible Surplus Lines Insurers (XXXXX) with a current A.M. Best’s rating of no less than A X. For Workers’ Compensation Insurance, insurance issued by the State Compensation Fund is also acceptable.

  • Subcontractor Insurance Requirements Consultant shall require each of its subcontractors that perform Services under this Agreement to maintain insurance coverage that meets all of the requirements of this Section.

  • Contractors Pollution Liability Insurance (If Applicable $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate or whatever amount is acceptable to the City for any exposure to “hazardous materials” as this term is defined in applicable law, including but not limited to waste, asbestos, fungi, bacterial or mold.
