Additional Responsibilities of Library Faculty Members. Library faculty members work closely with faculty and students to provide instructional support to the academic programs and courses. Responsibilities include performing reference and instructional services, bibliographic research and organization, information retrieval, media skills, disciplinary knowledge, scholarship, and professional competencies in library services and library- related teaching appropriate to the faculty member’s position description. Regular library faculty members are also responsible for team teaching full- time one (1) quarter out of every nine (9), affiliating with a planning unit, contributing to curriculum planning and participating in library governance activities as determined by the library xxxx.
