Additional rules for 2nd and 3rd opinions. i. Pending receipt of the second or third medical opinion, the employee is provisionally entitled to the sick time. If the certifications do not ultimately establish the employee's entitlement to the sick time, the sick leave shall be treated as unpaid leave and the employee shall be required to repay any pay received during the period of provisional entitlement.
