ADDITIVE ALTERNATE BID. 1.11.1 An additive alternate bid (authorized by the county, if any) is an amount stated in the bid to be added to the amount of the base bid if the county, in its sole discretion, elects to authorize the corresponding change in project scope or materials or methods of construction described in the bidding documents.
