Administration of Testing. To ensure this policy is applied consistently, the Human Resources Department will be responsible for the coordination and administration of the Alcohol and Drug Testing Program. It will serve as a liaison with the collection facility, the laboratory, and the Substance Abuse Professionals, with support of the City’s third-party administrator. Moreover, it will advise employees who have engaged in prohibited conduct of the resources available for evaluating and resolving the problems associated with the drug and alcohol usage.
