To ensure this policy is applied consistently, the Human Resources Department will be responsible for the coordination and administration of the Alcohol and Drug Testing Program. It will serve as a liaison with the collection facility, the laboratory, and the Substance Abuse Professionals, with support of the City’s third-party administrator. Moreover, it will advise employees who have engaged in prohibited conduct of the resources available for evaluating and resolving the problems associated with the drug and alcohol usage.
